Alanna Hartzok is an educator, activist and lecturer in the areas of economic justice, land rights, and commons rent public finance, and she is the Administrator for the Baltimore Thrive commons rent policy implementation project. She is a recipient of the International Earth Day Award and was a candidate for Congress, for the Green Party in 2001 and the Democratic Party in 2014. Alanna initiated a tax reform bill for the state of Pennsylvania that passed nearly unanimously.
