Anyone who was alive and aware in 1963 and 1968 know of the gutting-experience it was to be so inspired by two brothers, Kennedy and....to lose them the way we did. We had our young, joyous, brilliantly articulate, self-effacing president, who brought youngsters to the White House and we had his brother, the attorney general, Robert, who brought a sharp-edged humanity, brilliant insights and negotiation skills to, what we called "Camelot"---a vision of an era of joy, prosperity and the convergence of humanity into something which resembled a giant family. When we "lost" John and Bobby, part of our souls also was dimmed and a section of our optimism faded. Then LBJ ripped us into a new and dreadful modality we can sum-up as "Vietnam." There we languished for decades, longing for a person who legitimately cared about the simple people who would be found "seeking out the poorer quarters, where the ragged people go...looking for the places, only they would know."* And when it came to politics, we were so numbed and had become so jaded that--when listening to professional politicians (who were like rutting bucks in mating season) we "squandered our resistance, for a pocket full of mumbles, such are promises.....Lie Lie Lie"*
Now, here comes–from the poorer quarters, from the fish mongers from the afflicted, the lonely, the lost–another fit one from that family K–one with his uncle's charm, his father's pluck and a spirit of nature and the universe which makes him the logical carrier of the banners of his predecessors and one who has a broad spectrum of visions, tasks and dreams.
I met, photographed and made deep eye contact with Senator Robert Francis Kennedy 6 days before he was taken down in Los Angeles. The soulful connection made in those few moments was identical to what I have enjoyed on meeting Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
This long post is NOT for me to try to convince you to vote for Bobby Jr. I would not dare to presume to tell one how to vote. What I am begging is; that you do not fall prey to the massive distractive "news" which will be presented by the 5-corporations' media. I ask that you tread carefully through that vapid jungle of financial interest and to seek out those poorer quarters or those alternative places, where our ragged fellows are. Look at the people who are being called "Conspiracy Theorists" and remember that they, in great part, are just un-paid and concerned LIE DETECTORS. I ask that you inform yourself well and investigate this thing almost no one speaks of, "The Great Reset" and who is behind it. Listen to Bobby Jr.'s words and look into his eyes and see if there is truth or bunk. (It is not "bunk"--I am banking on that.)
Then you will have sufficient knowledge to make informed decisions, hopefully FOR what you WANT and not against what you do not.
Thank you, PH
*Both of the above quotes come from Simon and Garfunkel's wonderful song "The Boxer" from their "Bridge over Troubled Waters" album; what a delicious treat that is.
I thought his speech was excellent....the ONLY thing is his past record against the Constitution's 2nd Amendment! If he continues with that anti gun stance he's dead in the water....
