Our inner state becomes our outer environment both individually and collectively as a society.

The very limited false persona that we have relyed on up until now has become untenable and is in the process of collapsing in on itself.

This is a crisis, an emergency; but also an opportunity for an expansion of consciousness and the possibility of psycho-somatic healing for us as individuals and society as a whole.

The outer circumstances of our lives, if properly understood and capitalized upon, may inspire and encourage us to finally become more fully, who and what we are meant to be as Human Beings.

It's always darkest before the dawn.

I'm looking forward to hearing this! I recently did an episode on James: https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/corbett-unz-and-wwii-the-unnecessary. I did a couple comparing his views with Matt Ehret: https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/matt-ehret-and-james-corbett and https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/multipolar-vs-micropolar.

And I'm glad to discover your work since I'm just finishing One Nation Under Blackmail. I've been slipping references to it into other shows but I'm eager to do an episode (or series) on it.

A fine interview, Bruce. I'd heard James talk about the Asch conformity study before and his lesson from it that we can model resistance and others will follow. I'm a little more pessimistic about that. I think it shows that people conform to their peers, as you'd expect from the indoctrination of 30+ students to one adult.

The actor refusing to do it became a test case of resistance. If the lab coat had tackled him to the ground, yelled at him, ridiculed him, wrote him a $3000 ticket, the next one to follow would have likely done as he was told.

My advice to my readers has been to pick your battles. I don't think, personally, we're going to stop this train until it crashes. No point throwing yourself in front of it. But crash it will and I think we should be preparing for what we want when it does.

Thanks again for subbing, and I notice we both read the excellent Vanessa also!

I'm so honored that you subbed me, Bruce! And I noticed that you also read Matt Ehret, so I'll be curious if my comparison resonates with you.

I'm also a big fan of Caitlin Johnstone but have taken issue with her censorship of some things and omissions of others: https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/caitlin-johnstone-and-free-speech. Since you sub both CJ and Margaret, you might be interested in this one: https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/cj-hopkins-and-the-new-normal-reich.

I'm in touch with the Breggins, and have done 15 episodes on Malone. This is one: https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/in-defense-of-the-breggins-part-one. And I have two on James Corbett himself: https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/james-corbett-on-hopium-and-heroes and https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/popping-the-blue-pill.

I'm thrilled to be read by someone with whom I have so much in common!

An incredibly important discussion: ‘a deep dive into 2023 of the worst things happening – the most dangerous and important things that we’re facing – and what’s the good news?’

Every time James introduces us (me and my own subscribers) to a content creator we may or may not be familiar, I almost always end up subscribing. As I cross-post this chat comment to my Substack “Notes,” I’m very pleased to add Bruce de Torres’ to my “suggested subscription” list. As always, please share & subscribe.🗽

Emails Show Pentagon Worked on Climate Plan During Botched Afghanistan Withdrawal

In the two weeks between the fall of Kabul to the Taliban on August 15, 2021, and the final U.S. military flight out of Afghanistan on August 30, Pentagon officials were scrambling with the White House to finalize the Department of Defense Climate Adaptation Plan, a document that declares climate change a major national security risk. The emails indicate frustration from climate change-focused Pentagon officials at the difficulty of getting the plan signed — but that ultimately their determination to focus on climate change even during the Afghanistan withdrawal paid off. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin signed the climate initiative on September 1, just six days after 13 Americans were killed by a Taliban suicide bomber.
